“SAUNACHELIN (Saunachelin)” is an annual award that recognizes “Japan’s must-visit sauna facilities,” announced every year on November 11th, Totonoe Day.
Out of more than 12,000 facilities across the country, professional sauna experts evaluate candidates from multiple perspectives—such as cold baths, open-air bathing, hospitality, and innovation—and select 11 outstanding facilities.
